Why I love the message:

1. Straightforward -> Delta asked us… this affects a few others
2. Focus on the positive -> Delta’s customers value skymiles more when they can track it.
3. Workaround -> Create a separate account
Delta recently asked us to stop tracking Delta SkyMiles balances. We’re sorry for the inconvenience and will be pushing out updates to the Website and iPhone app ASAP.
Delta’s decision affected a few other travel startups including AwardWallet and TripIt, which you can read about here if interested:
We know that MileWise makes Delta consumers appreciate their SkyMiles program more, so we’ve reached out and hope to have the program back in our system. In the meantime, this measure has been helpful to some of our customers: you can create a custom account, change the nickname, and track your balance manually.
